Richard Franklin Cone, 73, of Reston, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Reston Hospital Center.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 13th at 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church, 1421 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, VA 20190. There will be a gathering at Kimberly & Craig's in Fairfax afterwards.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karin Cone; daughter Kimberly Knoll and son-in-law Craig; son Michael Cone and daughter-in-law Christina; son Kevin Cone and daughter-in-law Camille; grandsons, Zachary, Jared, Noah, Kevin, Ethan, Patrick, and Holden; sister Maureen Ketchen. His parents Frederick and Rosalie and brother Frederick predeceased him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association or a charitable organization of your choice.
