Passed away on October 28, 2024 at Goodwin House in Alexandria, Virginia. Mrs. Keleher, the daughter of Harold Russell Tyler and Elizabeth Glenn Tyler, was born on February 28th, 1935 in Waterville, NY. She graduated from Skidmore College and then met her husband, Arthur Keleher, while working in the art department of Mademoiselle Magazine in New York City.
The couple married in January of 1958, eventually settling in Alexandria, Virginia, where she and Arthur raised their four children. Mrs. Keleher supported her community through her involvement with the Twig, a philanthropic organization supporting Alexandria Hospital. She was a sculptor and a painter and a member of the Art League of Alexandria. In 1983, she and 224 other artists, moved into the newly renovated Torpedo Factory Art Center where she had a studio for many years. She was a lifelong tennis player and enjoyed sailing and spending time with her family at their weekend house in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
She is survived by her children Kimberly Keleher (Tom Rust), Leslie Harris (Jeffry), Sue Ann Kane (John) and Michael Keleher, four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
