Martha Elizabeth Renshaw Jefferson

Martha Elizabeth Renshaw Jefferson, age 99, of Alexandria, VA died July 18, 2014 at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 29, 1915 in Decatur, Texas to the late Holly and Jessie Vandiver Renshaw. Martha attended Decatur Baptist College. She married George Thomas Jefferson in 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas, moving to Alexandria, Virginia in 1963.
Martha was the wife of the late George T. Jefferson, mother of Betty Woodcock of Richmond, Virginia, Tom Jefferson of Eugene, Oregon and the late Bret Jefferson, grandmother of Ellen Woodcock of Richmond, Virginia and Anne Weatherford of Mansfield, Texas, great-grandmother of Olivia and Cole Weatherford.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th at 10:30am at Plymouth Haven Baptist Church, 8600 Plymouth Road, Alexandria, VA. A reception will immediately follow. Graveside services will be held at 2pm at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA
