Linda Sue Kregar passed peacefully at home on the morning of January 25, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.

Linda was born in Columbus, Ohio to Dave and Betty Evans. After briefly attending Ohio State University, she married Dave Kregar and embraced a life of service as an army wife. Upon retirement, they settled in Alexandria, VA with their three children.

Linda will always be remembered by those that loved her for her great sense of humor, her contagious laughter, and the patience, love, and faith that carried her through 55 years of marriage. Linda was a light in the dark for those that knew her well. She was compassionate and always led with kindness. Her family meant everything to her and she gave all of herself to be involved. She will be deeply missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her oldest son, Scott Kregar. She is survived by her husband, Dave Kregar, her daughter, Rebecca Stites (Derek Stites), her son, Greg Kregar (Kayla Wright), 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and her sister, Judy Arbuckle (John Arbuckle).

Visitation will take place at Old Town Funeral Choices on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.
