Guestbook

  1. Sorely missing you bro. We were just starting to get reconnected again… Thoughts and prayers for the family.

  2. A Blooming Blues was sent on July 1, 2019

Bro Tom & wife Gail, bro Mike, Sisters Linda & Diane and Mother Diane Neuberger. Blooming Blues arrangement because John loved to listen & PLAY the BLUES. They’ll surely be playing in our hearts as we think of you this day.

  3. Guitars and cars…. that’s my oldest brother John! He saved me from drowning as a toddler… he’s the reason I’m here today. I was/will always be envious of his ability to play guitar! How dad would get mad and made you practice out in the back yard with your amp! I remember your first black Amx Javelin, with the white stripe up the hood and the side pipes. I used to love to say, “Yes, that’s my brother coming to pick me up!”. And the 61 Camaro… and even the orange Vega! Many people may not know- but he could dance too! Another envy of mine as I have 2 left feet. Over the years we grew apart, but still kept in touch, even more so over the past 10 years… So many phone calls always ending with an assignment for me to listen to a new song, and get back to him with what I thought about it… last song assigned was “Everything is Broken”… loved it! I can hear him playing it now. My favorite new song is “Perfect” by Fairground Attraction. Can’t say how much I miss our talks… so much more to share… will just have to wait until we meet up again. Love you and miss John. I wish I could have told you more often.

  4. I worked with John at webMethods. He was a great man. Rest in peace, John. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

  5. John gave me my first job out of college, at webMethods, and I worked with him there for many years. I played racquetball and basketball with him, and we shared a love of Mustangs. And I loved listening to him shred on the guitar… even if his living room full of speakers must have made his neighbors crazy. He was always very kind to me.

  6. May then peace that passes ALL understanding be your eternal rest. John, you will be sorely missed.
    Brother Tom

  7. Neubs was a kind soul with a big heart. Was always fun to be around at webM, I am very sorry to hear of his passing. And man – he could jam on the guitar, was always awesome in our informal, 2 jams only “the methods” at the webM offsite meetings…

  8. Yes Guitars and cars about says it all. I might also add “The Gemini” and “Rain out Theater”- hanging out at his place shooting pool, listening to music, playing cards… whenever work was cancelled due to rain. I miss you Bro and will be looking for you in Heaven.

  9. I am extremely saddened by John’s passing. He was a dear friend and a respected colleague during my time at XDB and webMethods. Musically, we both shared a love of The Cure. My deepest deepest condolences go out to  his family and loved ones.

    Farewell my friend,

    Janey Lee Solwold

  10. John, we’re going to miss you, both as a colleague and a just great guy to have around the office.

  11. To family and friends…
    Psalm 34:17-18 NIV
. [17] The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. [18] The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. …

  12. As a year is quickly approaching I hope you know how often I have thought of you and wanted to call you… and now, I am scheduled for hip replacement surgery- on June 17, 2020…. it’s not just by chance – I believe there is a divine intervention that is letting me know that you will be with me… and that I’ll be ok and back on my feet again. I was worried, until I realized the date… and Now I know you will There to protect me.
    Love you and miss you…
