Dreier- James Robert, 81, passed away suddenly in Fairfax, VA, on June 1, 2017. Born July 26, 1935, in Johnstown, PA, son of Frederik and Pauline (Geyer) Dreier. Preceded in death by parents, brother Fred Dreier and sister Delores Reynolds.
Survived by wife, Sandra, daughter Diane Wissinger, son James, married to Natalie, all of Alexandria, Va; grandsons David Wissinger, California, Patrick Wissinger married to Shura, Missouri; and Thomas(TJ)Dreier, Alexandria. VA; and great-granddaughter Lillian Wissinger, Missouri.
Graduate of Johnstown High School, served in US Army 1955-1957, provided US Government security in Turkey and Germany, worked for Bethlehem Steel in Franklin Boro until the mill's closing, then worked at the Johnstown WalMart until moving to Virginia. A competitive diver in his youth; liked playing golf and devoted fan of the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. At family's request, there is no visitation or memorial service.
