Jairo S. CastaA�eda naciA� en Granada, Nicaragua el 30 de Marzo de 1968. FalleciA� el 11 de Noviembre, 2017 en Alexandria, VA. Le han sobrevivido su hija, Yorleni CastaA�eda, su nieto Leonardo Gabriel Alba; sus Padres, Noel CastaA�eda y Socorro Canales de CastaA'eda; sus cuatro hermanos, William, Martha, Noel Jose y Belinda; su esposa Maria Alvarez. Se ha reunido con sus hermanos que se marcharon antes que El, Maria Auxiliadora y York Javier CastaA'eda.
Jairo sirviA� en el servicio militar por dos aA�os en Nicagarua. Despues, emigrA� a los Estados Unidos en Febrero de 1989. En Estados Unidos, trabajA� para Costco como Supervisor y despues como Control de Trafico en areas de Construccion en el condado de Fairfax; se caracterizaba por ser un excelente empleado.
Jairo era un hombre muy amable, servicial, generoso y respetuoso. No le gustaba criticar ni juzgar a nadie. Tambien le gustaba cocinar. El era el chef de la familia; se especializaba en cocinar platos tApicos Nicaraguense. Disfrutaba mucho jugar con los niA'os de la familia. Le encantaba ver deportes como beisbol y futbol Americano. Sus equipos favoritos eran los Media Roja de Boston, los Redskins y los Ravens. Su pasatiempo favorite era pescar. Fue my querido por mucha gente tanto en Nicaragua como en los Estados Unidos.
Jairo se ha marchado inesperadamente a un mejor lugar, a la casa de Nuestro Padre celestial, pero su recuerdo y su espAritu siempre estara presente y vivo en nuestra mente y corazones.

Jairo S. CastaA�eda was born in Granada, Nicaragua on March 30, 1968. He passed away on November 11, 2017 in Alexandria, VA. He is survived by his daughter, Yorleni CastaA�eda, his grandson Leonardo Gabriel Alba; his parents, Noel CastaA�eda and Socorro Canales de CastaA'eda; his four brothers and sisters, William, Martha, Noel Jose and Belinda; his wife Maria Alvarez. He was preceded in death by her brother and sister, York Javier y Maria Auxiliadora CastaA'eda.
Jairo served in the military service for two years in Nicaragua. Later, he immigrated to the United States in February of 1989. In the United States, he worked for Costco as Supervisor and later as Traffic Control in Construction areas in Fairfax County; he was an outstanding employee.
Jairo was a very kind, helpful, generous and respectful human being. He was a very caring and compassionate Son, especially with his mother who was very ill before she moved to Nicaragua. He helped her to move around the house. He did not like to criticize or judge anyone. He enjoyed cooking; he was the chef of the family; he specialized in cooking typical Nicaraguan dishes. He liked playing with the young children of the family. He loved watching sports like baseball and football. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox, the Redskins and the Ravens. His favorite pastime was fishing. He was loved by many people both in Nicaragua and in the United States.
Jairo has gone unexpectedly to a better place, to the house of our heavenly Father. His memory and his spirit will always be present and alive in our minds and hearts.
