Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My deepest sympathies to you, Carolyn. I know too well the emptiness when a beloved parent passes. I remember Aunt Elsie as a tiny, feisty lady whose values were much like that of my dad. I always wanted her approval. I worked with her one summer when I was in High School cleaning a mansion in Locktown. She was a tough boss but I strived to meet her expectations and I had a lot of admiration for her. Much love to you and Jim at this difficult time.

  2. I’ll always cherish my moments spent with Aunt Elsie over tea with honey at my kitchen table. When she and Uncle Bill lived in Revere, PA, they stopped to visit often, and we heard lots of fun family stories. I think of them each time we drive past their little house in Revere. My love and condolences to you, Carolyn. You were a wonderful daughter to take care of her as you did.

  3. She sounds like an amazing woman. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet her. Please accept my condolences.

  4. We will remember Elsie as the obituary states. A kind and hard working woman. We pay particular tribute to her daughter and son- in- law for their excellent care and the comfort they gave her in the years following the passing of her husband, Bill. As family she will be missed and remembered in the hearts of all of us.
