On Monday, March 5th, 2018, Debra Lee Alberti, a mother, daughter, spouse, sister, and grandmother, passed away suddenly at the age of 53. Debra will forever be remembered by her fiancAC. Jeffrey Morris, ,mother Veronica Cox, stepfather Thomas Cox, son Robert Alberti, daughter in-law Ashley Alberti, brother and sister in-law Sal and Christa Scianna, aunts and uncles Alice and Johnny Chupay, Joe and Val Corbo and her five grandchildren Ava, Cincere, Jaxon, Faith, Addyson. Debra will also be remembered by her niece Veronica, nephew Michael, five cousins, family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father Salvatore Scianna.

Debra, known to friends and family as Debbie or Mimi, was born in Poughkeepsie, New York at St. Francis Hospital on October 14, 1964. Debbie grew up in Fishkill, New York with her mother, brother and family. She later moved to Northern Virginia where she was a manager in the restaurant industry. Soon after, she was delighted to become a full-time grandmother. Debbie's favorite things in life were her family and keeping people happy and well fed!

A funeral and burial for Debbie will be held in May at her brother's house in Hopewell Junction, New York. But in the mean time the family would like to have a Celebration Of Life and gather on March 17th,2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the banquet hall of Bethel United Methodist Church located at 13506 Minnieville Rd. Woodbridge Virginia 22192. The pastor will recite a scripture and pray with everyone. Then, we will all gather, eat and pay respects. If you would like to send flowers or anything for the service or family, please send them to: 3117 Bradford St. Woodbridge VA or 14613 Danville Rd. Woodbridge Va. Please dress casual and comfortable.
