June 15, 1949 ~ July 25, 2022

Resided in: Steerling, Virginia

Charlotte Lee Garrett, 73 of Sterling, passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2022, at Reston Hospital Center following a short illness.  She was born June 1949 in Florida and named Charlotte Lee Holt.

Charlotte spent most of her life in Virginia, but always longed to return to Florida. She enjoyed interior decorations and would decorate her home for every holiday and season accordingly.  She was an avid football fan and loved the Washington Redskins and Florida Gators fan.  Her fiery personality was present in everything she did, and she was never afraid to speak her mind, a trait that served her well throughout her career as a construction vehicle operator.

Charlotte was the Matriarch of the Garrett family and was always willing to lend a hand in helping to raise the children within the family.  She is survived by her three children Joseph, Jennifer, and Jacob, and her grand children all of which she had a hand in helping to raise: Carrie, Joseph Michael, Joshua, and Kailynn.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM  at Funeral Choices of Chantilly, 14522L Lee Road, Chantilly, VA 20151.  Interment will follow at 2:00 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

  1. Love you Mom. Even in the hospital you were worried about whether or not I was going on vacation. You spent your entire life caring for others.

  2. She was my friend on Facebook for a long time and me and my grandma miss her on Facebook so much, i remember her telling me that she called the shower a rain cabinet and i did not know what she meant the first time she told me that but now i know what it is.

  3. She was a new and good friend. I got to talk to her one time before she passed. Rest in Peace Charlotte.
