Charles M. Hawkins, Sr., age 71, of Alexandria, VA died on Monday October 6, 2014 at the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA. He was born on August 4, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Thomas S. and Thelma Ridley Hawkins.
Charles was the beloved husband of 41 years to Regina Hawkins, loving and devoted father of Charles Hawkins Jr and his wife Lisa Clark-Hawkins, Shannon Hawkins, Tiffany Thompson and her husband Dameyon, and Nicole Hawkins, proud grandfather of Dionte, Dy'mond and Daelan, brother-in-law of Carole Hawkins, Oliver Washington, Johnny, Lafayette and Reginald Washington, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday October 25th from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 7836 Fordson Road Alexandria, VA 22306.
