Allan Gardner, 85, passed away peacefully in his sleep In Fairfax Hospital on November 8, 2020.  The youngest of seven children, Allan was born on March 24, 1935, in Wagga Wagga, a small town in New South Wales, Australia, about 300 miles west of Sydney.

Having moved to Sydney, Allan heard the gospel in a special Sunday School meeting when he was 12. That same afternoon he trusted the Lord Jesus as his own personal Savior. From that time onwards a profound change began in Allan’s heart that quickly became obvious, both to him and to those who knew him.

Allan was a promising tennis player and was looking to attend law school, when he felt a growing desire to preach the Gospel; and even at the young age of fifteen, he began to preach in open air meetings conducted by the Open Air Campaigners in and around the city of Sydney. By the time he was 18, Allan accepted the invitation to minister full time with OAC.

It was during this time with Open Air Campaigners that Allan met and married a young lady named Pam, who shared his passion for sharing the Gospel, and in 1955 they were married and began a ministry together.

For more than 65 years Allan served the Lord as an evangelist, pastor, teacher, and mentor in more than 70 countries.

Allan has touched the lives of countless people around the world; however, his most enduring and powerful legacy is the love and care he had for his family. He is survived by his wife, Pam, his children Kym and his wife Susan, Scott, and Andrea; and his three grandchildren Shelby, Brooke, and William.
