William Lee Timberlake, III

william timberlake, iii

William Lee Timberlake, III, age 50, was born September 20, 1971, in Washington, D.C. He passed away December 29, 2021, in Alexandria, Virginia of liver cancer. William is survived by his parents, Diana and William Lee Timberlake, Jr., his sister, Kristi Timberlake Elles, his brother-in-law, Christopher Elles, Jr., and his nephews, London and Donovan Elles.

Born with a rare kidney disease, William received two kidney transplants. He was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and Northern Virginia Community College but his expertise and passion was for the outdoors. He embraced the freedom of the wilderness and his love of nature could be seen in all of his daily pursuits as he generously shared this depth of knowledge through his retail work and hobbies. William had a profound conviction for maintaining a respectful stewardship of the natural world and he served as Vice President of the Spotswood Hunt Club and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid sportsman who relished the brotherhood and thrill of the hunt, the joy of the open air, a bright sky, a deep and tranquil woods or a clear running river. He is remembered by those who loved him in all places wild and free.

  1. I met William while working at Dawsons Sporting Goods. Anytime I had a question, which was often, he was always ready to help me. I really enjoyed learning from him. He and my husband, Joe, would talk several times a week about hunting, fishing or the newest gun. William was just an all around good guy. He was like a member of our family. Ill miss him so much. Rest In Peace, William.

  2. To the family. My deepest condolences for your loss. William was a great friend in high school. Sending prayers

  3. Outstanding post, you have pointed out some good details , I too think this s a very fantastic website.

  4. I have to express my gratitude for your kindness giving support to people that really need help on this idea. Your special commitment to passing the message all over appeared to be quite practical and have allowed professionals like me to arrive at their aims. This warm and friendly publication denotes much to me and somewhat more to my office workers. With thanks; from each one of us.
