  5. Nannie Kidd, such a sweet lady, always with a smile, having something nice to say, and quick with a little ‘zinger’ usually directed at Spencer. We loved your 7:00 pm telephone calls to check up on Bonnie and Spencer and know that you are still checking on them from a better place. Love you and or thoughts are with Spencer, Bonnie, and Nannie Kidd’s family.

May God send many blessings to cheer and strengthen you and always stay close by your side with love and comfort, too. Thanks so much for sharing your beloved mother to half of the teenagers in springfield. She was admired, respected and most of all will be missed. My deepest sympathy to each one of you. Love Brenda

  11. Nan, You were the rock of the family, and the heart. I am going to miss you so much. I loved our chats on the couch, and your stories that would often end with something witty that would make me laugh. Goodness you knew how to bring a smile to people’s faces. You are an angel, Nan. And I feel so blessed to have gotten to know you. I have so many of your stories to share with Eva and Ella, your great-granddaughters, who remember you still and will never forget you because I won’t let them. And Shaun — he loves you so much. He spoke of you fondly as the one who raised him. I still have all the trinkets you gave me — the four-leaf clover he brought home to you one day, the Snoopy pin, his little monkey toy that sucked on his thumb just like Shaun did. I have every little note you left in every single Christmas present. I can’t imagine parting with any of it… It’s bad enough that you have had to part from us. I miss you Nan. Rest in peace. Mariam

  12. A Mom is indeed the glue that holds a family together. The nurse, confidant, counselor, and indeed the one we turn to when life isn’t fair, and we need the tender guidance only a mother can offer. We take these moments to mourn and cry, yet, joy in the fact we WILL see her again. Remember the wonderful loving gestures, take time to cry, and take time to be thankful for the joy and love she brought the entire family. Our MANY thoughts and prayers have been with the entire family. May God hold you all in the palm of HIS UNCHANGING HAND! Love and prayers, from your KY family! XXXOOO

  13. Aunt Margie, as I have known her my entire life, was a big part of my early childhood. She was my mother’s confidant, my father’s sister, and a loving and considerate aunt to me and the other children in our family. I will always remember her …

  14. Mom, As I look back in time. I am so happy that God choose you to be my mom. You will allways be in my heart, until the almighty comes for me, to be with you one more time. Mom I love you, Spencer

  15. Mom, you were the most wonderful MOM anyone could have ever had. I will always remember the talks we shared. You had the best sense of humor of anyone I have ever known. You always had a kind word for everyone. We will miss you. Our "Love Always"
