Michael Allen Anthony, 63 of Star Tannery, and Stephen City, Virginia, beloved son of the late David and Janet Anthony of Herndon, VA, completed life on Friday evening, May 27th, 2022. Born and raised in northern Virginia, Michael spent several years in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Naples, Florida, and Charlestown, Rhode Island; His passion was landscaping and residential color selection having founded the firm Fresh Impressions and as a partner in the development company, RI Properties, LLC. Wherever Michael lived, he left it more beautiful than before.

Surrounded in love by his Husband – Tom Senter, sisters- Michelle Anthony Miller, and Jouette Anthony, Brother-in-law – Ron A Miller, nieces – Stephanie Swanson and Jessica Miller Mao; Michael passed peacefully leaving a beloved great niece – Melissa Swanson, sister-in-law – Judi Senter Fogt and Brother-in-law – Howard Fogt, many dear friends in VA, WI, FL, and RI, and his dearest friend of all – Bonnie Bowman of Naples, FL.

A remembrance gathering will be announced at a later date followed by a private graveside ceremony. Donations in memory of Michael  may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Memphis, TN or the American Melanoma Research Foundation, Washington DC .

  1. Michael and i became close friends while living in Chippewa Falls. Although we both moved away to pursue changes in our lives, our friendship remained. I will forever be grateful for the time we had and that Michael (and the Miller family) became part of my life.
