  4. Samantha, I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words that I can offer that will restore the loss that your family is experiencing or make it easier, however, I sincerely pray that the love that your Daddy had for you and your beautiful heartwarming memories will comfort you and give you moments of peace during this difficult time.

    With my deepest sympathy,

    Sharon

  5. Dallas you will be missed! You were a quiet man but your presence was always felt. You will be missed. May you rest in eternal peace with no more pain. Love to all the family.

  6. Uncle Dallas!! I just visited Portmouth today to find my father’s grave and thought of you and your voice that sound almost identical to his. I’d tried to find you a few times after your information changed and was always so happy to never find an obituary… thought of you while leaving Portsmouth to head home to Alabama and did a search just to see if I would find anything to lead me to you and found this. You were indeed loved! Your lovely wife, Sandy adored you and I heard it in her voice the first time I talked to her when I was looking for my dad’s brothers that he hadn’t seen since childhood. Thank you for being so kind to me and my kids! You’d be so glad to know that I followed your advice about that second Master’s degree! Thanks for the encouragement! Love Always, Millicent
