Whether crazy or zany? Madcap? Wherever Joan was, hilarity ensued. Her three daughters: Lisa, Donna, and Deedy (who are much older than she inversely claimed to be!), sadly acknowledge her peaceful passing at home at the age of 97, in Alexandria, Virginia.
Her secret to a long, well-lived life? Skittles + laughter. And plenty of both!
A native New Yorker, she grew to fully embrace Cincinnati as the best place to raise her family. But only after she recovered from the geographic shock.
Now, she joins her parents: The Honorable and Mrs. James A. Higgins, her brothers: James and Donald, and her former husband: Gerald P. Mullins. She is survived by her three daughter, Lisa J. Mullins, Donna F. Mullins and son in law Fernando Rosas, Deirdre C. Mullins, and grandchildren, Sarah and Keith.
