Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Oh Peggy, I’m going to miss you. We were the older group in the family. We shared the grandchildren and loved them as MeMe and MawMaw. I enjoyed the long talks we had, and the memories we shared. God bless you.

  2. We will miss Peggy so much. We loved her dearly, our sweet neighbor from across the street. Rest in peace.

  3. Peggy was a wonderful woman with a lovely laugh and joy in life. She will be greatly missed ❤️

  4. Peggy Trumbo was a dedicated, reliable member of St. Aidan\’s Parish. I searched through all my old St. Aidan’s photos and could find any with Peggy Trumbo. That must be because she was always working in the background helping out whenever she was needed. She was a tremendous asset to the parish. I knew her from the time I moved to Alexandria in 1998 until I moved to Illinois in 2022, and it was always a pleasure to know her.

  5. I’ve known Peggy as a pillar of Saint Aidan’s since I arrived 22 years ago — her humor, kindness, and wisdom spread joy to all who encountered her. I will miss her deeply.

  6. I got to know Peggy when I joined the Women’s Book Club. She knew everyone and everything about them. I will forever miss her sweet smile and her lovely voice. She was and will remain a treasured friend.

  7. Peggy was such a joyous and wonderful person. As cousins we enjoyed many get together at Freezeland Orchards and Hilandale. She had a wonderful sense of humor and lived a good Christian life.
She will be so missed. God bless her and her family at this time.
    (Betsy Burleson Hudson)

  8. Peggy Trumbo was filled with friendliness, enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. Having met her in the late 70’s through St. Aidan’s, I am thankful for the wonderful memories of times with her in VA and meaningful conversations since moving.
