Esther Doris Medlock 95 of Alexandria, Virginia passed away at her home on May 26th.  Esther was born

In Guilford County, North Carolina on October 27, 2926, to Margret Walker.

 

Esther’s career was in healthcare, and she was an LPN at Alexandria Hospital for many years.  Esther

always enjoyed reading her bible, fellowship with the members of her church and spending time with

her family.

 

She was the last founding member of The Living Word, Inc. and its ministry House of Praise International

Church (formerly Temple of Jesus) that was formed in July 1981.  In 2018 Pastor Harlan Stilwell, licensed

Ester as a minister under the non-profit organization of The Living Word, Inc. where she served until  her

passing, with love, Joy & Peace as her motto.

 

Ether was predeceased by her husband John Medlock.  She will be lovingly remembered by her

daughter Venida, her grandson Marcus, his wife Jacqueline and her great-grandsons Gilber and Justice.

 

In addition, she leaves to mourn several beloved nieces and nephews.  She will be lovingly remembered

by her church family.
